One year. 20 songs.

This makes for one big challenge. It could almost be called a present to myself for my twentieth birthday. Writing and recording 20 songs just to see if I can before I turn 20. It seemed like a great idea when I thought of it the other day, but now it's seeming like a bit more of a challenge.

Perhaps I should start with where the idea came from. I was wanting to write some music, and thought that I would then post it on a myspace-music site. So that was own fine and well, but this meant I had to come up with a name for it.

Now I don't know if you've ever just tried to come up with a name for something such as this, but it's really, really hard. It took me a while, and I actually even tried asking a few people if they had any ideas. But they didn't.

So eventually, the next day, while I was sitting having a coffee (OK, it was hot chocolate really) an idea came to me. The idea of Project20, coming from the fact that I am going to be twenty in eight months, and twenty sounds like a fun amount of songs to write. It might make a good CD when I'm finished too.

So that's pretty much everything that's happened so far, apart from me having to spend money to make my iBook capable of recording music. Check back for updates soon.
